Well I think you can see by the fact that I've released non- open source software using it that it's ok with us
We weren't sure of a better way to license it to allow this. Really- we want as many apps out there that support libdsmi- open source or otherwise- but what we really hope is that you wont make a proprietary spinoff of libdsmi and the servers themselves, that would break compatability. If you need a feature added feel free to submit it to us, or ask us to add it
